日本には「八百万の神」という思想がある。神聖は特定の形に宿るものではなく、森羅万象に浸透している。
この記録は、その感覚への接近から始まった。2020年春、世界が停止し、予定は失われた。撮ること、歩くことが日々を整える行為となった。寺社という宗教的な場を通じて問われるのは、信仰そのものではない。空間がいかに「神聖さ」を生むのか。それは、宗教だけに属するのか。日常にも潜んでいるのか。この記録は、その問いに静かに介入する試みである。

Forms arise from the mind
In Japan, "Yaoyorozu no Kami" suggests that divinity resides in all things—not fixed in form, but present throughout nature and the everyday. This record began as an attempt to sense that presence. In spring 2020, as the world paused and plans dissolved, walking and photographing became ways to restore rhythm. Through religious spaces, the focus was not on doctrine, but on something more elusive: How is sacredness constructed? Does it only belong to religion—or can it emerge in the everyday as well? Musō offers a quiet intervention into these questions, between the visible and the invisible.
